Wishes to invite interested firms to pre-qualify for a contract to organize ongoing campaigns in Somalia to advocate for child rights
Description of Services The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Somalia Country Office, is planning to carry out an 18-month campaign inside Somalia to promote the CRC. This will involve working on a total of nine different themes/subjects, including what is the CRC, education, health, nutrition, child participation, birth registration, violence and abuse, child labour and former child soldiers. One theme will be chosen by UNICEF every two months starting July; and during the two months period the company will organize at least one event in Mogadishu, Garowe and Hargeisa, if security permits.
The chosen party will handle all aspects of the campaign, such as identifying and inviting guest speakers and participants; generating publicity/media coverage when appropriate; producing campaign/IEC materials; and be creative in keeping the momentum going even after the campaign physically ends. Ideas of social media campaigns, focus group discussions, radio/TV shows, roadside theatres, etc. are welcome, but need to done in consultation with UNICEF.
A summary and analytical report at the end of each campaign is expected.
Criteria
This REOI is addressed to the individuals and companies with the ability to
· organize events inside Somalia;
· carry out high quality advocacy campaigns; and
· come up with innovative ideas to sustain the momentum of a campaign after it concludes.

The Form should be completed and returned to UNICEF before 20th April 2016 along with the substantiating documents such as copy of company profile, including legal registration, VAT number, and bank details, references list, copy of your catalogue, including valid price list, if applicable, any additional/substantiating document you deem appropriate.
The respondent should also complete the attached Annexes I - V and submit along with other documents listed in the REOI.
