Information generated in this study will provide a most needed baseline by child protection actors in Somaliland and most importantly enable SCI and the Somaliland Human Rights commission to advise the government on the best options for dealing with violence against children. The data will also be used to inform the upcoming process of developing the Children Act as well as the National Plan of Action for Somaliland. Policy recommendations and technical papers will be drawn from the findings and shared with the government and other relevant actors.
